OPV, A Revolution in Solar Power

This week we are very pleased to be able to announce that Inergy UK Ltd is actively working to bring to the UK market some revolutionary new products. OPV – Organic PhotoVoltaics - are being called the third generation of solar energy and promise to revolutionise the industry.

OPV panels use much less energy to manufacture than the 2nd generation of silicon-based solar panels and are able to generate electricity from daylight as well as sunlight – unlike conventional solar panels, OPV panels work even when it’s cloudy and even when situated at up to 70 degrees off-axis.

OPV products will become available in January 2011 and more information will be made available in the coming months. As soon as we have more details we will be posting them on our website and blog so stay tuned.
